Odontogenic myxoma is an intraosseous neoplasm that comprises 3-20% of all odontogenic tumors and is characterized by stellate and spindle-shaped cells embedded in an abundant myxoid or mucoid extracellular matrix. This tumor may lead to an extensive bone expansion and usually infiltrates the adjacent bone.
